The Gift
Of course, it’s always the thought that counts, but remember this is really the only gift from the family that your Secret Pal will get on Christmas day, so make it a good one. There is a minimum amount, so please keep your thoughts at least in the $50 range. We created a guide for you if you need Tips for Gift Giving. We also put together a few gift ideas if you need them.
The Grab Bag
Don’t forget about the grab bag too, if you’re planning on participating in that. Everyone who participates in the grab bag swap should bring a few items to put in it. One of the items needs to be a $20 – $25 item wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper. This is the only item you should wrap in Christmas paper, and we’ll all open them at the end. Any of the other items you bring to put in the bag can also be wrapped if you want but in something other than Christmas paper (boxes, bags, newspaper, anything but Christmas wrapping paper). For these items, you can write on them “open now” or “open later” if you want.
